JOB SUMMARY: To clean and maintain District swimming pools; and to operate, adjust and repair chemical feed systems, filtering and heating systems. SUPERVISION: Receives immediate supervision from the Plumbing/HVACR Supervisor, and functional and technical supervision from the Lead Pool Attendant. Exercises no supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING: One year of paid swimming pool maintenance work experience. AND High school graduation or the equivalent. LICENSES/CERTIFICATES/REGISTRATIONS An appropriate, valid California driver's license and automobile liability insurance.* A valid American Red Cross First Aid Certificate or a verifiable equivalent.* A valid American Red Cross Community CPR Certificate which includes infants, children, and adults or a verifiable equivalent.* A valid American Red Cross Emergency Water Safety Certificate.* *Must be presented upon offer of employment and maintained throughout employment in this position.

ADDITIONAL SALARY INFORMATION: This is a non-exempt position, Regular Classified Salary Range 34. Most positions in this class work 8hours/12months. The probationary period for employees in this classification is six (6) months (or 130 working days of paid service).
