Parts ManagerInfiniti of Charlotte is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to join our team in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus a commission structure in the auto industry. As a Parts Manager, you will oversee the purchasing, inventory management, sales, and profitability of the parts department. This role is an individual contributor position and requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team and drive results.Compensation for this position is $70,000 to $110,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including purchasing, inventory management, sales, and profitabilityEstablish and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms to ensure the best value for the companyDevelop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitabilityMonitor and analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and make informed purchasing decisionsTrain and mentor parts department staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales goalsEnsure proper inventory levels and efficient stocking practices to meet the needs of the service department and retail customersMaintain a clean and organized parts department in accordance with company standardsCollaborate with other department managers to identify opportunities for cross-selling and improving overall business performanceDevelop and enforce policies and procedures for the parts department to ensure compliance with company and industry standardsManage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional mannerRegularly review and update pricing strategies to remain competitive in the marketMonitor and maintain accurate parts and labor sales records for reporting and analysis purposesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework or degree preferred3-5 years of experience in an automotive parts management roleStrong leadership and team management skillsProficiency in inventory management and purchasingExcellent customer service and communication skillsKnowledge of automotive parts and industry trendsAbility to analyze data and make informed business decisionsProficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management softwareMust be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if neededEEOC Statement:Mills Auto Group is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
